Beacon News

Beacon tech has now evolved to another level that allows one to get their business seen on major advert networks from around the world! You now have the ability to generate new leads on a daily basis without having to drive targeted traffic from a computer! Exciting times ahead in 2019!!

Every business has to reach potential customers. If your business needs to reach local people digital marketing can fill the bill. Proximity marketing is reaching the smart phones here on a daily basis. Some of the smart phones here have 50 apps. I actually bought the newest smart phone because I wanted a special app. It is simple for me now to know how much I am earning by the minute. In my case I have learned to use my earnings to convince people of the value of Invest Plus.

Some Misconceptions about Digital Advertising

  • The first is that it is complicated. But the truth is, digital is as hard as you make it to be. In actuality … digital is easy, fast, very effective, affordable and you can reach a lot more people.
  • And, with smartphone technology, with what is available now, you can reach out 100% to everyone that is interested in your business 24 hours a day. Your logo is your business card and with a tap, your customers have access to all of your digital properties.
    • Your personalized alert page
    • Your contact information
    • A mini website
    • Your Facebook page, Twitter, LinkedIn etc … social media
    • Your Blog
    • Landing pages
    • Google Maps
    • A payment processor where they can make that purchase, pay or even donate

Digital means that you are in complete control 24 hours a day with your message. When it can be changed often, you can retain your customers interest in your business in many different ways

    • The second misconception, digital is expensive, when it is not. For example, social media is free or low cost if you want to advertise. Proximity Marketing? As low as 50 cents a day. A complete customizable app … at 54 cents a day.

The exception is, if you want an app built on the old technology, it will be expensive. In 2017, when I searched for the  average cost of an app built that way, the price for a basix app was around 15K.

Today with the same search, here was the answer:

“The average cost to make an app ranges from $80K – $250K+, depending on what type of app you want to create: Simple apps cost up to $80,000. Basic database apps cost between $100,000 – $150,000. Advanced, multi-feature apps cost $150,000 –$250,000.”

Cyber-gear states,  “Mobile applications are increasingly playing a vital role in business with a larger customer base as well as a workforce relying on the convenience of access on-demand to information & solutions”

When we want information, what do we reach for? Most often, it is our phone or some device connected to the internet. Your current customers or would be customers access all of their information the same way.

There are now a number of ways your customers can find you and get access to your information.

You can always leave it to chance or approach it in a direct and concise way through digital.

Smartphone Technology Has Evolved The App Into a Global, Yet Simple, Command Center For You And For Your Customers.

Since its introduction in early 2017, beacon technology for small business and individuals has been inadvertently changing the landscape in advertising. Now the world stands in awe in the new developing story.

With the recent decision by Google to end the NearBy program on December 6th, of this year … as IBO’er, Taylor Spencer Jr., predicted … sent some overnight inside the beacon industry into a tailspin. Only the strong survived.

But the good news for those associates that were involved with those companies that folded, is that the market is far from being oversaturated and there is plenty of opportunity still to join forces with Genusity and others. There are 30.2 billion small business owners waiting for you.

For the small business owner, proximity marketing is more than ever a viable source to build your local customer base. You still have a choice on the size of radius that you want to reach out to with your message. With six different models and a choice of five different size of a radius from

  • 150 feet
  • 250 feet
  • 300 feet
  • 492 feet
  • 1640 feet

Prior to December 6th, your message was only transmitted to Bluetooth enabled android phones. Now it is transmitted to all devices.

It does not have to be just local anymore.

Now you can choose to use a graphic ad:

  • your circumference stretches out 50 miles or your total zip code from where you transmit.
  • Then add this phenomenal feature, your graphic ad can now be attached  to an App Rotator that has one to two million apps inside it at any given time

Here’s how it works:

When an app is ordered, your ad/message is randomly attached to one. It’s then sent over the internet and when the receiver opens the app, your ad/message is presented to them.

You still have your local ways of advertising and they are very much worth supporting. People are always going to be interested in what is happening around their town and are going to want to read the local newspaper.

Supporting your local 4 H Fairs. This is one of the best ways to reach new customers because when done right, in one weeks time you can build brand loyalty and gain local support for your business … even if you are online only.

There are local sports that you can support, Boy Scouts, seniors and other organizations. By now you may be asking yourself, then why do I need digital advertising?

For more value. More customers. Growth. Increase in sales. Creation of jobs and for the support of your community.

On the digital front, Facebook, Twitter and other social media is a perfect example of what can happen when you offer a service for free. Then sharing their popularity with any business wanting to list their product or service for free on a business page?

Take note here business owners, value is your biggest asset!

Don’t forget there are Mobile websites and SEO to consider because they are your lifeline to local customers and the result of more sales. Without either of these you are sending your would be customers elsewhere.

In conclusion: Before you make the switch to digital, you may want to do a basic research. That little bit of knowledge:

  • Will help you identify a possible authority on what you are looking for.
  • To determine if they can deliver what you are asking for, especially in an app
  • And most importantly, if they are asking a fair price for their service or product.

My advertising strategy for 2019.

Projected Start the end of January 2019

  • Still will be actively using IBO
  • Use the beacon to gain more customers
  • Then using the app to retain them
